Wall Street tax dodger funds anti-Dem with ads right here on DailyKos

The Super PAC misleadingly named "Ending Spending" reportedly spent $674,000 last week to attack Oregon's Rep Peter DeFazio (D). Bob Mercer, billionaire tax dodger, just gave $1 million more to take down a good Democrat this year.

DeFazio's opponent, Art Robinson, has shed his previous identity as a Republican and is running as an Independent. He's anti-gay, anti-choice, pro-big business and anti-Obama. Robinson's ads are running right here on DailyKos.

His ads and public statements mostly amount to, "Washington bad, gov'mint bad, elect me, I'm new and different!"

Peter DeFazio, of course, has been bucking the bad in Washington for three decades. He voted against the Iraq war and would do so again if Congress bothered to take responsibility for Obama's newest war. He's 100% in support of women's rights, LGBT equality, and the right to birth control and abortion. He consistently fights for the middle class. He even bucked Clinton by voting against NAFTA.

Robinson, on the other hand, is hiding his opinions and record, which includes equating public education to child abuse, wanting to force rape victims to carry the offspring of their rapist, denying same-sex couples the right to marry and repealing the dreaded Obamacare. Well, actually, that's the only position he's willing to post on his Issues page. No need to mention all that abortion and gay stuff on his website, right?

Why is a billionaire tax dodger throwing money at defeating Defazio? More below the fold.
